Iliana moved to The Bahamas at an early age and flourished as a High School Spanish Teacher. Iliana earned her BA & Teaching Certification in primary education from Institute Manuel Ascunse Domeneck in Cuba. Her passion and involvement in volunteering with the youth of the Bahamas led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counselling from Christian Leadership University. The vast experience of living in multiple countries afforded her the ability to easily understand, connect with and relate to people cross-culturally while efficiently communicating in Russian, Spanish & English. In the past ten years, she gained additional skills & professional experience in business management, sales, accounting, and construction development by working with prominent companies such as Sandyport Beaches Resort (“Festiva”), Alternative Power Supply & CMDC Ltd. This knowledge and experience, coupled with her driven and friendly personality, has provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily, such as understanding the client’s specific needs, conducting effective negotiations, education, and marketing. She is often described as proactive, detail-oriented, and fun to be around. Iliana prioritizes investing in & building relationships, staying active by playing tennis, and enjoying the beauty of all that island life offers!
