Kim Aranha - Estate Agent
Kim Victoria B. Aranha Is the daughter of Lyford Cay Club founding member, Francis Francis, her first memories of Lyford Cay are in 1959 as a small girl holding her Dad’s hand. Kim was raised in the Berry Islands, schooled at Brillantmont in Lausanne Switzerland and Le Fleuron in Florence Italy.
Kim previously served as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee, Board Member of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce, Board Member on The Out Island Promotion Board, Board Member The Hotel Association Board and Board Member The Tourism Advisory Board. She is keenly focused on conservation and is co-founder of the Bahamas Sea Turtle Conservation Group and a founding member of BREEF. Kim has a passion for the arts and served as chairman of the fund-raising committee at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas. Kim also served on the Executive board of the Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association for several years.
She is currently President of the Bahamas Humane Society and writes a weekly column in the Tribune Newspaper called “Animal Matters”. Kim is married to Captain Paul Aranha, has two adult sons. Paul and Scott, a daughter in law Bianca, four stepchildren and five step grandchildren. Her family also includes five dogs. She loves to travel to Europe and New York. Her passion remains the theatre, art, music, books and real estate. Her heart and home would not be complete, in her eyes, if there were no dogs in the house. Her dreams of universal peace remain a driving force in her life. Kim is fluent in English, French and Italian.
